A WWE wrestler was not pleased after she received a speeding ticket in Edmonton this weekend. US professional wrestler, Lacey Evans, posted a video of her being pulled over by an Edmonton police officer on Saturday. She recorded the incident and claims that Canada is terrible, as you can see in the tweet below, after receiving a citation.
Point here is, if you have to have ask someone if they know who you are, then they don’t.
1.Canada is terrible.
2. You know Exactly who I am.
3. You will be speaking to my lawyer. #YaNasty pic.twitter.com/EsqRSaj4iV— Lacey Evans ~ WWE Superstar (@LaceyEvansWWE) September 21, 2019
As someone that is a recipient of one of these Edmonton Awards, this is one of the funniest rebuttals from Edmontonians
As mayor, I can guarantee you have at least three
photo radar tickets coming as well.
Welcome to Edmonton and thanks for your donations to our LRT and Bike Lanes.#yegphotoradar #yegrocks #shouldhavetakenabus #savetheplanettakepublictransit— Not Mayor Don (@don_yeg) September 22, 2019
Also I must note I am not defending Edmonton. Edmonton is actually pretty horrible (this is only my fandom of the Calgary Flames showing) and Canada is really great.
