The San Jose Sharks have always been a hard team to understand. Almost 30 years into their franchise, they have had some very good teams and dominant seasons. But they have only been to the Cup Finals once and never won it all. Contrast that with the first year Golden Knights, and that isn’t exactly a proud franchise.
So why can the Sharks never get over the hump? Well maybe it has something to do with decisions like they made today, inking one of the biggest shithead, underachieving cancers in the league to arguably THE WORST contract in NHL history: a ridiculous 7 million dollars for 7 years deal as reported by Irfaan Gaffar of Sportsnet.
Hearing the Sharks and Evander Kane have agreed to a long-term contract extension. Numbers may be in the 7-years 7-million per range.

What the FUCK is Doug Wilson thinking?
Maybe he looked up Patrick Kane’s stats by accident? I really don’t know, but Evander Kane has a career high of 57 points, and that was in 2011… As a 4th overall pick that isn’t too bad for a 19 year old.
But since then Kane has topped out at 43 points in a season, and the only time Evander is making news is when he is causing shit with his own teammates, posting garbage on social media, assault accusations, and generally being one of the most controversial, and least liked players in the NHL. A full timeline of his turbulent, short stay in Winnipeg can be seen here.
To get some context, a quick list of some players that make less money than 7 million per year include: Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak, Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, Mark Giordano, Dougie Hamilton, Nathan MacKinnon, Taylor Hall, Shane Gostisbehere, Mark Scheifele, just to name a few off the top of my head.
Evander Fucking Kane now makes more than all of them.
Do I really need to keep writing?
