Ever have to stay late when your boss tells you to work overtime? How about 5 overtimes?

That was the case in the KHL last night, as Jokerit and CSKA Moscow played the longest game in KHL history, going into the 5th overtime period! The game lasted 142:09 and defenceman Mat Robinson had almost an hour of icetime at 54:12!

Jokerit was able to get the upper hand in the end, most likely because one of the players’ mom’s brought orange slices after the 3rd overtime. Way to go mom!

Jokerit goaltender Karri Ramo made 83 saves on 84 shots, which is more than he ever saved in three seasons combined for the Calgary Flames.
