OFFICIAL – The Calgary Flames got some great news on Wednesday as defenceman Michael Stone took part in practice after missing three months with a blood clot (via CBS Sports).

Stone will add some depth to a D-core that is currently playing with three rookies in the lineup most nights.

The Flames have been rumoured to be in the running to acquire his brother, Mark, from the Ottawa Senators, as the NHL trade deadline approaches. I couldn’t find a picture of Michael, so I just used a picture of Mark for the featured image. I hope this doesn’t cause any confusion.
