Winning the Stanley Cup is what every hockey player dreams of as a kid. It’s the pinnacle of your sport. A lot of things come with winning Lord Stanley’s mug, but an oft over-looked aspect is how you can pretty much one-up anyone chirping you just by mentioning you have, in fact, won a Stanley Cup. It’s a pretty much a show stopper. It’s obviously way more effective to those yard birds that haven’t won a Cup, but players shouldn’t let the fact that the idiot chirping them might also have a Cup stop them.
